more anger.
Oct. 12th, 2008 12:33 amAlthough it angers me to see that dumb-shit smile on her face, I kind of love when CNN post pictures like that of Palin next to articles like this: {Palin blasts Obama for his views on abortion}. Women should look especially hard at how SHE views this issue. I mean, we already know that she put her own views ahead of her daughter's happiness, so I doubt the average American woman's right to privacy over her own body will mean much to Sarah Palin.
Not to mention:
From {http://edition.cnn.com}
"The notion that legitimate criticism of Sen. Obama's record and positions could be compared to Gov. George Wallace, his segregationist policies and the violence he provoked is unacceptable and has no place in this campaign. I am saddened that John Lewis, a man I've always admired, would make such a brazen and baseless attack on my character and the character of the thousands of hardworking Americans who come to our events to cheer for the kind of reform that will put America on the right track. I call on Sen. Obama to immediately and personally repudiate these outrageous and divisive comments that are so clearly designed to shut down debate 24 days before the election. Our country must return to the important debate about the path forward for America."
Shortly after, Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton released a statement on the Lewis comments.
"Sen. Obama does not believe that John McCain or his policy criticism is in any way comparable to George Wallace or his segregationist policies," Burton said. "But John Lewis was right to condemn some of the hateful rhetoric that John McCain himself personally rebuked just last night, as well as the baseless and profoundly irresponsible charges from his own running mate that the Democratic nominee for president of the United States 'pals around with terrorists.' "
THAT IS RIGHT! Because, my God, people were shouting "KILL HIM" in the Republican rallies, and that scares the living shit right out of me. How is listening without comment, and therefore, IMO, condoning those sentiments, "legitimate criticism"? Has McCain completely lost his mind?
Another thing.
Why is Sarah Palin so intent on protecting unborn children even to the point of denying abortion to victims of incest and rape, but every other day, I see a new photograph of her smiling over a dying moose that is covered with blood? I mean, seriously?
